The Waiting Game

I’ve said it before I’m a planner. I love to plan, prepare, and organize…most of the time. Some days are more planned out than others :) For the past few weeks I have been in my zone prepping and planning for our move in May and two beach vacations!! It’s all very exciting. Unfortunately I have arrived at my least favorite part…the waiting. Waiting for tax season to be over so I can see my husband and head to Belize. Waiting to be in our new apartment. And waiting a little more for summer, and our family trip to Seaside.
For some waiting is easy. You’ve done all there is to do and now you get to sit back and relax. That’s not me, when I’m done planning I’m ready for the trip, move, or other life event to happen RIGHT THEN. I’m impatient. Pretty sure when our wedding planning was done and I had to wait another month for the wedding I went crazy.
Luckily for me and for you I have found a way to pass the time. A strategy we all know and love… retail therapy. I could shop online for days. Thankfully planning for a move and two beach vacations gave me a couple good excuses.
I’m rarely searching for “things” as I’m a girl on a budget and all the little things don’t always make the cut. Now with all this waiting time on my hands I have been able to search deeper and harder for little treasures. I have found a few must haves for anyone going to the beach, and a couple decor pieces to add a little summer fun to your home. Enjoy!
